Hello all!
We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times! The threat of COVID-19 has changed almost every aspect of life, and we wanted to update you on what the virus has meant for our PUC project and plans.
Toward the beginning of Spring Break, UT Austin cancelled all education abroad programs through the end of the summer. This means we will no longer be travelling to Oaxaca to meet the Xuchil Team in person and implement our project together. While this is deeply saddening, we know it will help keep our team, our partners, and our communities safe.
All of the donations made to this project will still benefit the Xuchil Team and help this project come to fruition, just not this summer! We remain optimistic and are continuing to work hard this year to serve the Xuchil Team and Tejiendo Alianzas as best we can.
